Title: Meatloaf with Sweet & Sour Glaze

Yield: 6 Servings

1 1/4lbGround chuck or round
1smOnion, minced
1clGarlic, minced
1/4cItalian bread crumbs or
  Wheat germ
1 Egg
1tbBrown sugar
14ozJar chili sauce
1/4cGrape jelly

Combine ground chuck, onion, garlic, brown sugar, egg and bread crumbs. Shape by hand into two small loaves and place in a shallow baking dish. Bake at 350-degrees until cooked through, about 1 hour or less. Meanwhile, combine chili sauce and grape jelly in a small saucepan until the jelly melts and blends. Set aside. When the meatloaves are done, drain the grease from the pan and pour the chili sauce mixture over the meat loaves. Place in a 350-degree oven and bakes another 20 minutes or until the sauce bubbles. Serve with rice and a bright green veggie, such as sugar snap peas or green beans.
